Apana: Pada Banda grounds you through all four corners of the feet , tailbone anchors towards the heels, scapula slide down the back.

Samana: Feet press down and isometrically hold center, generating activation between the sitting bones through Mula Bandha. Uddiyana Bandha in the abdomen coils in and up to support neutral pelvic alignment and extend/lengthen the natural curvature of the spine and gather the low ribs in.

Prana: Leg muscles hug in and activate upwards from the action of pada bandha.

Vyana: Spine Extends from crown to tail, collarbones broaden through the chest, energy circulates through fingers and toes.

Udana: Cervical spine extension.
